I too really like hearing the experiences and perspectives of LMS' from many different districts. I keep my ears open to hear about new Web applications and sites that others have found and how they have been used with studens.

I was disappointed last week that I wasn't able to atend and hear the discussion about Badgerlink! That such has so much to offer and I truly LOVE Novelist. I have that window tabbed open all day long using it to help my students to help them find books of interest. I also agree with everyone else, and even more so now that these Wednesay nights are nice to chat with others about the issues occuring in education and to hear other peoples viewpoints. I always learn so much from my classmates and I appreicaite your expertise!

It was a very exciting experiment, skyping into the class. I enjoyed listening to the conversation, and I'm sure that I will learn a lot from not only Dennis, but the rest of you as well. Thank you for sharing your class with me.

Class tonight. Book fair just ended and I got 2 big boxes from Folett today! It's Christmas time over at Lincoln. I also had a meeting this past Monday about what we can do to help save the librarians in our district and different ways we can promote our libraries. If you have any suggestions, I welcome them. Thanks

It was really helpful to have the Follet guys come in and share their info with us. I agree with Lorena that I would like to talk about how we are each using assistants in the library. It would be great to share ideas! Toni

I agree with Toni. Matt and Don were helpful for me to better understand ebooks. I also agree with Ann that it's nice to catch up with issues in education with other educators. I will miss hearing from other districts when I am finished with these classes. Sandy L.

It was Retro Friday in the library (and a bit on Monday too!) A few servers in our district crashed leaving us with no internet. Teachers and students were lost however we were able to accommodate some classes and students by going old school. We searched for books based solely on our printed Dewey Decimal Classifications. Most students had to be taught how to search for information in books! This was a blast from the past :)
P.S. We also began narrowing down our color choices for our library's new accent painting!
